Sorry that this review isn’t really a review, since I’m planning on writing an article on the film for a print publication, but I can tell you a bit about the story: Robert Mitchum plays an up-and-coming doctor named Jeff Cameron who works at San Francisco General Hospital. One night as he’s preparing to leave for home, a suicide attempt victim (Faith Domergue) comes into the hospital. Jeff treats the woman and becomes attached to her, leading to… Well, that’s all I can tell you for right now. I’ll let you know when and where the article is published as things develop.
