I’m pleased – overjoyed – ECSTATIC – to announce that the Anne Arundel County Public Library system (where I work) is the recipient of the 2015 Small Press Expo Graphic Novel Gift Program. AACPL will receive a gift of graphic novels worth $6,000. Our collection is honored to receive this wonderful gift and I can assure the givers that these books will be read and treasured by many. As an AACPL librarian and lover of comics, I am super excited about this news!
Books donated will include works published by Top Shelf Productions, Drawn & Quarterly, Koyama Press, Cartoon Books, Adhouse and Fantagraphics Books. A huge thank you also goes to Noah Van Sciver, who provided the signature bookplate for the books. Thank you SPX, publishers, and Noah. Our patrons will treasure these books for many, many years.
